Green Lantern #57 reaction post

crimsonquillsI know this is a couple of days after the fact, but I'm still happy and interested in discussion, so I thought it was worth a post.
When the cover and solicit for Green Lantern #57 came out, I was more than a little worried. Carol Ferris, a character I admire, in chains? A male entity/host for an all-female Corps? An entity for love named the Predator?
However!
I am happy to report that the contents of the issue are pretty different than the advertising would suggest.
