the dcu reboot
Anyone interested in starting some discussions about the dcu reboot?
What titles did you read? Are you trying out any new titles?
I made two posts on my journal with short comments about the titles I read.
DC Comics
the rest of the new dcu comics
I rarely do any serious reading outside of the Batfamily titles so the ones I read were heavily weighed toward the bat titles. I thought the best two of the ones I read were Nightwing and Batman. The one new title that I didn't read before that I think I'll continue with is Blue Beetle.

Birds of Prey was interesting too. I'm not widely read enough in DC to recognize Starling, but she looks to be a fun character and I love Dinah, though I'm sad that there seems to be no Helena or Zinda yet. I do like that the artist seems to be able to draw good fight scenes.
Nightwing was pretty good, not so great on drawing action, but I'm interested enough to keep reading to find out what Dick's supposedly done. (Though seriously, you know you're heading to Gotham and you can't spring for some different colours for the clown costume?)
I loved Batwoman. And that it's fallout/connected to Elegy, which I also loved, is great. The flirting with Sawyer was great and I'd love to see the romance develop. And Kate taking Bette under her wing looks promising. I love the art, how Kate's drawn as practically unreal when dressed as Batwoman. (And sweet mother, I love that they kept her in boots and not heels.)
Mr. Terrific seems like a potentially fun comic. I don't know him much outside of the JLU cartoon, so it's interesting on two fronts right now. Not a huge fan of the art though, some of the face shots are so out of proportion.
Supergirl was fun too, I really liked how they handled both her appearance on Earth and how they brought out her powers. It was a nice moment, both for Supergirl's realizations and for showing her powers.
Girfter was all right. I'm not a fan of Cole's Wolverine side burns, but it looks like they're telling his origin story and I'm enough of a fan of his from the Image Comics days that I'll keep reading it for now.
Green Lantern Corps looks like fun. It's starring my two favourite GLs, and so far, it seems to be focused on outer space, so I'm hooked. The mystery foe has got me really curious.

I may give Batwoman a chance. I want to read it but I disliked the art.

Well, the art's a big enough deal in the book that if you don't like it, I could see that being a deal breaker. There are some books where that's been the case for me too, no matter how much I loved the story/characters.
